Job summary

iSi Environmental in Wichita, KS is seeking an Asbestos Supervisor to oversee abatement, remediation and demolition projects at client facilities. The role requires supervising a crew, ensuring safety, and strict regulatory compliance with KDHE guidelines.

You will perform air sampling coordination, manage timesheets and paperwork, and provide excellent customer service to client representatives and regulators. Travel up to 50% is expected and a 40-hour Asbestos Supervisor training is required.

Qualifications

• Supervises asbestos abatement, remediation, demolition activities.
• 40-hour Asbestos Supervisor training preferred or required.
• 2-3 years prior experience in asbestos abatement.
• 5 years supervisory experience with 10 crew members max.
• Strong knowledge of KDHE regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform asbestos abatement, remediation, demolition.
• Lead a team of 1-2 leads and 5-10 laborers.
• Ensure safety policies and proper use of PPE.
• Coordinate air sampling and submit results timely.
• Complete project paperwork (timesheets, JSAs) for accounting.

Supervises and provides asbestos abatement, remediation and demolition services to numerous iSi customers in accordance with applicable regulations and in a manner that will meet facility required production rates.

Job Requirements Position Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform asbestos abatement, remediation, demolition
• Supervise a team of 1-2 leads and 5-10 laborers, handling minor
• Perform air sampling and submit cassettes and air sheets in a timely
• Perform work in accordance with State and Federal regulations
• Supervise and perform lead abatement activities as needed
• Ensure employee compliance with safety policies and proper use of
• Ensure safe operation of power tools, lifts, motor vehicles, and
• Conduct daily toolbox safety meetings with crew personnel
• Enforce safety policies and train new hires for compliance
• Operate motor vehicles safely and in compliance with applicable
• Develop knowledge of client facilities and operations
• Provide customer service to client representatives and regulatory

• Inspect and track crew work
