Hillmann Consulting, LLC is seeking an Asbestos Project Manager/Investigator to join our team serving the NYC area. The role involves conducting investigations, developing remediation plans, sampling air and bulk materials, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

We value experienced professionals with 2–5 years in environmental consulting, a Science-related degree, and active NYC DEP Asbestos Investigator and NYSDOL Asbestos Inspector certifications.

Qualifications

• College degree in a Science-related field preferred, but not required.
• 2–5 years of industry experience.
• Asbestos licenses/certifications required per listing, including NYC DEP and NYSDOL where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Conduct investigations and develop remediation plans.
• Collect air samples during asbestos work and maintain documentation.
• Perform air and bulk sampling using standard methods.
• Generate remediation scopes of work from inspections.
• Maintain applicable licenses and respond to client emergencies.
• Be on-call for Hillmann 24-hour disaster response team.
