Job summary

AKT Peerless is seeking an asbestos inspector to join a multi-disciplinary team in Farmington Hills. The role involves assisting in verification, quantification, and collection of building materials for asbestos analysis, and overseeing abatement contractors.

You will compile and write reports, maintain daily logs on demolition or renovation sites, and comply with safety protocols including respirator use. A high school diploma and valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• 1-5 years' experience in asbestos inspections and related duties.
• Valid Asbestos Building Inspector Accreditation with annual refresher courses.
• High school diploma required.
• Ability to implement procedures independently.
• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Strong technical writing and MS Office skills.
• Excellent organizational and communications abilities.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Valid Asbestos Building Inspector Accreditation with annual inspector refresher courses
