Job summary

BELFOR Environmental, INC. in San Jose, CA is seeking an experienced Asbestos Supervisor to lead on-site abatement projects and supervise asbestos technicians.

You will ensure compliance with safety, regulatory and company standards, document work performed, and coordinate with project managers and clients. The role requires licensure as an Asbestos Supervisor, CDPHE asbestos certification with medical card, lead and hazardous waste certifications, and the ability to drive and manage field

Qualifications

• Must be able to identify products (consumables), usage and disposal requirements with training.
• Must possess Asbestos Supervisor License.
• Must be CDPHE Asbestos Certified with Medical Card.
• Must have current Lead Certification.
• Must have current Hazardous Waste Certification.

Responsibilities

• Meet with Project Managers, Operations Managers, Customers, and/or Customers' Agents to understand job requirements and document accordingly.
• Communicate job requirements, schedules, abatement techniques, equipment usage, safety procedures and site rules.
• Disciplinary action when technicians violate policy or safety standards.
• Verify badges, job numbers, and posting notices on-site; ensure records are accurate.
• Record daily activities, materials used, and time; report on-site activities and incidents.
