Job summary

Precision Environmental is seeking an Asbestos Abatement Supervisor in San Bernardino County. The role involves supervising crewmembers during asbestos, mold, lead, and other hazardous waste removals, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures, and overseeing job setup and quality control.

The Environmental Supervisor will lead field teams, coordinate with the Project Director, and liaise with other departments to ensure safe, compliant project execution.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience.
• 3-5 years of Asbestos, Lead, and Mold abatement experience and hazardous waste/materials
• Must be in possession of current Asbestos Supervisor certificate
• CDPH Certified Preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervise crewmembers during asbestos, mold, lead, and/or other hazardous waste removals.
• Direct lead technicians in the production phase of jobs via work orders.
• Interface with other departments within the company and report to the Project Director as required.
• Oversee job setup and quality control.

Our Asbestos Abatement Supervisors are responsible for supervising environmental jobs. Direct lead technicians in the production phase of job(s) via work orders. This position reports directly to the Project Director and interfaces with other departments within the company as required.

Job Summary

The Environmental Supervisor is responsible for supervising crewmembers during the performance of asbestos, mold, lead, and/or other hazardous waste removals while adhering to company policies and procedures regarding remediation while overseeing job set-up and quality control.

Qualifications And Requirements

• 2+ years of supervisory experience
• Valid Driver’s License, with driving record in good standing (Class C)
• 3-5 years of Asbestos, Lead, and Mold abatement experience and hazardous waste/materials
• Must be in possession of current Asbestos Supervisor certificate
• CDPH Certified Preferred

Additional Eligibility Qualifications

The individual must be able to pass environmental physical enabling the individual to wear a respirator

Communication Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Bilingual English/Spanish is encouraged, but not required.

Work Environment

Working around equipment and machinery, the work environment is usually dirty, dusty, and noisy, on uneven ground/surfaces containing hazardous or potentially hazardous substances and/or materials, and is subject to inclement or extreme weather conditions and temperatures. Work includes handling hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment. Frequent travel is required for this position.
