Job summary

EcoSafe Abatement LLC — Asbestos Abatement Worker position available in Colorado. Performs hands-on asbestos removal and remediation on residential, commercial, and industrial sites under supervision. Requires training and certification, with emphasis on safety and regulatory compliance.

Location: Denver, CO; Full-time role with opportunities for advancement. Starting pay aligns with experience and regulations for asbestos work; travel to Colorado sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Completion of PA-accredited asbestos worker training and CDPHE certification.
• Maintains required training, refresher training and documentation per CDPHE.
• 1/2 year to 1 year asbestos abatement or related construction experience preferred.
• Knowledge of asbestos-safe work practices, containment methods and PPE use.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, with attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work in a team.
• Physical ability to perform manual labor in PPE and respirator.
• Willingness to complete respirator fit-testing and medical evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily asbestos abatement tasks under supervisor direction.
• Follow OSHA, EPA asbestos requirements, NESHAP, and CDPHE rules.
• Comply with CDPHE regs including 5 CCR 1001-8 and related protections.
• Set up and teardown containment systems and decontamination units.
• Remove asbestos materials using approved methods and wet techniques.
• Operate HEPA vacuums and negative-air equipment as directed.
• Wear, inspect, and maintain PPE and respirators per policy.
• Participate in respirator fit-testing and medical surveillance.
• Follow decontamination procedures and waste handling rules.
• Assist with air monitoring and liaise with project staff and regulators.
• Attend trainings, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
• Adhere to project work plans and containment procedures.
• Report hazards or equipment issues promptly.
• Travel to Colorado project sites as needed.
