Precision Environmental in Santa Barbara County is seeking an Asbestos Abatement Technician to join our growing team. You will perform removals of asbestos, mold, lead, and hazardous waste following EPA/OSHA guidelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year as lead technician, knowledge of safety protocols, and the ability to read MSDS. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. We offer full medical coverage and a company-matching 401k for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead technician in construction or restoration/mitigation field.
• Familiarity with safety guidelines and ability to apply them daily.
• Knowledge of company policies, SOPs, and adherence to guidelines.
• Competency in hand tools, power tools, and equipment used in the job.
• Continuous growth mindset with open-mindedness for learning and sharing knowledge.
• Good grasp of English language (reading, writing, verbal).
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) proficiency preferred.
• Ability to pass Respirator Physical and obtain respiratory fit exam.
• Ability to interpret basic instructions and Material Data Sheets.
• Industry certifications preferred, with willingness to undergo required medical exams.
• Physical abilities include repetitive hand motion, lifting heavy objects, working in confined spaces, and extended hours.

• Maintain communication with key stakeholders for project coordination.
• Expedite project completion through tasks like material pickup and repairs.
• Maintain company vehicle and restock supplies.
• Contribute to safety briefings and timecard completion.
• Continue professional growth through training and skill-building.
