Job summary

The Natick Public Schools are seeking an ASAP After School Nurse for Kennedy Middle School. This school-year position runs Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:00 PM to 5:30 PM under the Kennedy ASAP program. Salary is $56.10 per hour, with benefits per district policy.

The nurse will provide professional nursing, respond to health and medical emergencies, and work with the ASAP team to support the medical needs of enrolled students, following Massachusetts guidelines.

Qualifications

• Licensed as a registered nurse in Massachusetts.

JOB GOAL:

After School Program Nurse needed to support a child at the Kennedy Middle School in the Natick ASAP After School Program 2PM - 5:30PM, Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is a school year position. Work days follow the NPS School Calendar. $56.10/hour

The ASAP nurse will perform professional nursing duties consistent with Massachusetts guidelines, regulations and statutes governing nursing, school health, and local district policy. They will work collaboratively with the ASAP team to support the medical needs of an identified student or students enrolled in the program and respond to health and medical emergencies involving children enrolled in the program during their working shift. Outstanding organizational, written and communications skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills are essential for this position.
