The ASAP Advisor at LaGuardia Community College, part of The City University of New York, provides comprehensive academic and career advisement to a designated group of students enrolled in the ASAP program. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and four years of related experience.

Responsibilities include conducting advisement workshops, tracking progress, and collaborating with campus departments to enhance student success.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) in an appropriate discipline with four years related experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Experience working with student information systems and data is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver comprehensive advisement support to assigned students through degree completion.
• Conduct workshops and group advisement on relevant topics.
• Track student progress and use of academic support services; maintain accurate records.
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to support student success and coordinate tutoring initiatives.

Educación
