Job summary

Pen Manufacturing in Anaheim, CA is seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector with AS9100 knowledge to inspect materials, components, and finished products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and drawings.

You will work with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams, perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections, use calipers, micrometers, height gauges, CMM reports, and help maintain calibration and quality records.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years in quality inspection within manufacturing.
• AS9100-certified environment experience is required.
• Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, and inspection technique knowledge.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments and inspection tools.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and quality software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of manufactured products and components.
• Verify conformity to engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and quality documentation.
• Review certificates of conformity, material certifications, and inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with AS9100, ISO 9001, and internal procedures.
• Support audits and assist in corrective/preventive actions.
