Job summary

CFD Research Corporation, based in Hollywood, AL, is seeking a Logistics / Receiving Inspection professional to ensure compliance with AS9100 QMS and to support inventory control, shipping, and government property management. The role requires coordinating with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet customer requirements.

The candidate will assist in ERP implementation, maintain calibration records, and drive continuous process improvements across logistics and supply chain

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years in logistics, warehouse, supply chain, quality, property, or inventory management.
• AS9100 QMS experience preferred.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/government environments preferred.
• Knowledge of Government Property Management practices.
• Experience with shipping/receiving and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Support AS9100 QMS processes and documentation.
• Manage Government Property per contracts/regulations.
• Perform receiving inspection to quality standards.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Maintain inspection checklists and calibration records.
• Coordinate calibration schedules with internal/external teams.
• Support ERP implementation and data entry.
• Help improve quality, logistics, and inventory processes.
• Ensure material traceability across the supply chain.
