Job summary

HCI College seeks a Program Director for the AS-BMET program to lead on-site operations, ensure ACCSC compliance, and maintain program quality. You will supervise faculty, manage laboratories, and engage employer partners to support student success.

Responsibilities include curriculum oversight, assessment of program effectiveness, and coordinating with PAC and external stakeholders to ensure graduates achieve entry‑level BMET competencies and employment readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Biomedical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics/Electrical Engineering Technology, Clinical Engineering, or closely related field.
• Master’s degree preferred where possible.
• Minimum four years of related practical work experience in biomedical equipment technology or clinical engineering.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the on-site program head for the AS-BMET program.
• Ensure ACCSC compliance and program learning outcomes.
• Oversee curriculum design, laboratory operations, and PAC engagement.
• Recruit, hire, and evaluate BMET faculty; supervise staff.
• Engage employer partners and track graduate outcomes.

Education

Bachelor's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering or related field

Master's degree preferred
