Grand Canyon University (GCU) is seeking a CSLP student worker to support an arts enrichment program with BGCAZ in Phoenix. You will deliver arts-focused activities for K–6 students and facilitate small-group experiences, working up to 20 hours per week during the academic year.
The role emphasizes collaboration, reliability, and a passion for helping students succeed. Eligibility requires enrollment at GCU and maintaining GPA standards; FAFSA and background checks apply.
Grand Canyon University (GCU) maintains relationships with nonprofit organizations identified by the IRS as 501(c)(3) through their charitable programs. The collective mission of these organizations in the Phoenix Valley is to improve the quality of life for community residents or to address particular community needs. GCU maintains a partnership with the Boys & Girls Club of the Valley – AZ (BGCAZ) located at 4309 E. Belleview Street, Bldg. 14, Phoenix, AZ, 85008. BGCAZ fosters academic excellence, strong character, leadership development, healthy lifestyles, and workforce preparedness.
The CSLP student worker’s work schedule is dependent on the hours of operations and needs of BGCAZ; however, CSLP student workers may not work more than 20 hours per week during the academic year (fall and spring). If eligible, CSLP student workers can work during summer (May – August).

Pay Rate: Minimum Wage. Anticipated End Date: June 30, 2027.
Note: All FWS and FWS‑CSLP positions require applicants to complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be reviewed for FWS‑eligibility and awarded FWS.
Employment is contingent upon the satisfactory outcome (as determined by the university) of pre‑employment screening activities, including a background check.
