Job summary

Arts Lancaster is seeking a Marketing and Programs Coordinator to drive marketing and promotional activities, support educational and community programs, and assist our Development and Executive Directors with outreach efforts.

You will develop campaigns, manage social media and website updates, and help create engaging stories that strengthen the arts presence in Lancaster County. A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with some evening or weekend work for events.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in marketing or related role.
• Strong project management with deadline focus.
• Exceptional writing and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel for conferences (2–4 per year).
• Committed to equity, diversity and inclusion in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement marketing plans and branding strategies.
• Manage social media, graphic design, and website updates.
• Create engaging stories for community outreach and PR opportunities.
• Plan and execute campaigns with staff, targeting informed engagement.
• Maintain visual media inventories and support program execution.
• Build relationships with local businesses, artists, and educational partners.
