Job summary

Goodman Theatre in Chicago seeks a Community Programs Manager to lead the development and growth of key community learning programs within Education and Engagement. You will oversee curriculum, Teaching Artist management, participant engagement and program evaluation to drive impact and partnerships across the city.

This full-time, hybrid role requires 3-5 years of related experience, strong collaboration skills and a commitment to equity and inclusion as part of Goodman’s community initiatives.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in arts education, community engagement or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and growth of GeNarrations for adults 55+ across Chicago.
• Develop and maintain GeNarrations curriculum and resources.
• Recruit, onboard, schedule and support Teaching Artist cohort.
• Serve as primary contact for participants and partners.
• Lead planning and growth of ACTivation workshops.
• Create annual calendar of adult arts learning aligned with productions.
