Job summary

Broadway Dallas is seeking an Education & Community Programs Assistant to support the Education and Community Partnerships Department. This part-time, hourly role focuses on High School Musical Theatre Awards programs, camps, school matinees, and community ticket access.

On-site work at Music Hall at Fair Park is required. The assistant will help edit adjudication packets, coordinate summer camps, act as liaison during Dallas Student Days, and manage front-of-house tasks for events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• One+ year of program/event management experience, preferably with K-12 or educational theater.
• Experience in copy editing or writing.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Familiarity with online forms such as Jotform.

Responsibilities

• Edit adjudication packets and school paperwork for the HSMTA program and manage related communications.
• Provide on-site support for summer camps as the administrative staff representative.
• Coordinate Dallas Student Days: assist with ingress/egress, front of house, and teaching artist coordination.
• Oversee on-site event management such as ticket distribution for community ticket nights.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
