Job summary

Jewish Family Service of Colorado is seeking an On-Call Activities Specialist to support adults with disabilities in education, recreation, and community activities in the ACE program. This on-call position covers staff absences, with a consistent schedule Monday through Friday, 7:30-3:30.

Qualifications

• Preferred 1–3 years of relevant education or experience.
• Some experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in education, arts, and/or recreation settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and individual support, supervision, and transportation to ACE participants.
• Monitor outcomes and document progress daily.
• Lead arts and crafts, games, exercise, and the topic of the day.
• Facilitate small-group community activities with arts, cultural, recreational, and collaborative opportunities.
• Assist with organizing the office and activity space during and after activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
• Other duties as assigned.
