Job summary

The Jewish Family Service of Colorado is seeking an On-Call Activities Specialist to support adults with developmental disabilities in education, recreation, and community activities in Denver. This on-call, part-time role focuses on providing group and individual assistance, supervision, and transportation for ACE program participants.

Responsibilities include documenting progress, leading arts/crafts and group activities, and assisting with daily living tasks while traveling between sites.

Qualifications

• One to three years of relevant education or experience preferred.
• experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in education, arts, or recreation settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide group and individual support, supervision, and transportation for ACE program participants.
• Monitor progress and document outcomes daily.
• Lead arts, crafts, games, exercise, and topic-based activities.
• Facilitate small-group community activities with arts, culture, recreation, and collaboration.
• Assist with organizing the office and activity space during and after activities.
• Assist with activities of daily living and instrumental activities of daily living.
