Job summary

Northwest Florida State College seeks a Director for the Mattie Kelly Arts Center to provide strategic, artistic, operational and financial leadership, advancing the Center as a premier cultural resource in Northwest Florida.

You will lead the development and execution of presenting, educational, rental and community programming; oversee revenues, sponsorships and audience development; and guide staff and facilities to deliver exceptional experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution.
Professional experience in performing arts administration or venue management.
Experience with budgeting, financial analysis and revenue management.
Experience negotiating artist, production or performance contracts.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects and events.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

Develop and oversee a balanced annual portfolio of performances and community programming.
Lead budgeting, revenue development and financial analysis.
Direct marketing strategy and audience development in collaboration with College teams.
Cultivate philanthropic and corporate support with the College Foundation.
Provide leadership for staff, facilities and operations.
