Job summary

Florida Studio Theatre seeks a Managing Director to lead day-to-day administration across five stages and upcoming expansions. You will oversee finance, marketing, development, operations, and guest experiences, reporting to the Executive Director and partnering with a new Artistic Director.

Candidate should have experience running large, multi-venue theatre operations, a strong financial acumen, and a track record in nonprofit arts management and fundraising.

Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-venue producing environments and complex operations.
• Proven ability to lead finance, marketing, development and customer service sections.
• Familiarity with non-profit theatre contracting and labor relations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of five stages with expansion plans and campus growth.
• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and reporting in collaboration with the Executive Director.
• Build and maintain service-focused operations for patrons and donors.
• Represent the organization at fundraising events and in external partnerships.
• Develop policies and systems to scale operations and ensure compliance.
