The New England Conservatory of Music seeks an Artistic Operations Coordinator to provide essential administrative support for the Dean’s office and performance departments. You will manage calendars, workflows, and day-to-day coordination for multiple programs and events, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
The role involves contract processing, payments, budgeting oversight for guest artists, and collaboration with Production, Venue Operations, Marketing, and Advancement teams.

Reporting to the Dean and Chief Artistic Officer, the Artistic Operations Coordinator will be primarily responsible for providing essential administrative support for the Office of the Dean and Chief Artistic Officer, as well as the Conservatory’s performance departments, including Jazz & CMA, Voice/Opera, Strings, Woodwinds, Brass, Percussion, Piano, and Composition. The Coordinator will support the Dean and Chief Artistic Officer with managing calendars and workflows, ensuring that projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner and at the highest level, and will have the ability to focus on the day-to-day coordination of departmental needs and events – coordinating schedules, processing payments, and maintaining the internal communication flow for faculty and students. A successful candidate will have keen attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative spirit in working with various departments, including Production and Venue Operations, Scheduling, Marketing and Communications, Advancement and Engagement, and the Office of Executive Leadership. This is an in-person position, with occasional evening and weekend hours required.
