Job summary

The University of Texas at Austin's Texas Performing Arts seeks Artist Services Managers on an as-needed basis to support performances and events at Bass Concert Hall and offsite locations. Responsibilities include on-site event setup, hospitality for artists, and real-time problem solving to ensure seamless execution.

This role requires 2+ years in live events or hospitality, strong communication, ability to work independently in fast-paced environments, and a flexible schedule including nights

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in live events, hospitality, venue operations, or related field.
• Strong understanding of backstage operations and/or artist hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Event & Show Support: On-site lead for setup, execution, and strike; open/close events per standards; act as primary on-site contact; execute logistics.
• Artist & Company Hospitality: Manage backstage hospitality, dressing rooms, green rooms, catering; ensure spaces are clean and stocked.
• Operations & Logistics: Coordinate runs for supplies/meals; troubleshoot real-time needs; communicate with Event Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Capacity & Team Support: Extend Events team bandwidth during high-volume periods; execute tasks independently; support event flow and client experience.
