Job summary

CD Baby is seeking an Artist Relations Manager to build and grow relationships with artists and their teams. You’ll manage inbound referrals from our industry network, strengthen relationships with high-potential artists, and develop targeted outreach to prospective artists.

As an individual contributor reporting to the SVP, Marketing & Revenue, you’ll own day-to-day artist relationships and partner with leadership to scale the program.

Qualifications

• Experience in artist relations, artist management, or talent partnerships in the music industry.
• Proven ability to build trust with independent artists, managers, and industry partners.
• Strong commercial judgment and ability to move opportunities from introduction to agreement.

Responsibilities

• Own referrals from artists, managers, labels, and industry partners; evaluate opportunities and define service level.
• Maintain relationships with priority artists and coordinate outreach based on goals and needs.
• Identify prospective artists and build targeted outreach and recruitment pipelines.
• Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing to tailor outreach and messaging to artist segments.
• Develop repeatable processes for qualification, outreach, handoffs, and ongoing relationship management.
