Job summary

The White Moustache, a Brooklyn-based artisanal yogurt company, is seeking two energetic production supervisors to lead our teams in daily yogurt creation and related products. You will uphold our commitment to handmade quality for the New York City community, working onsite in Brooklyn, NY from 6am to 5pm on a four-day schedule.

Responsibilities include hiring and training, overseeing the daily workflow, maintaining sanitation and safety, ensuring product quality, and keeping accurate records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years kitchen, bakery or food management experience.
• At least 1 year of supervisory duties managing a team.

Responsibilities

• Assists with hiring and training of team members.
• Oversees daily workflow, scheduling and assignments.
• Adjusts shift roles based on call outs and absences.
• Fills out daily reports and checklists.
• Ensures quality of food product at all stages.
• Maintains high sanitation standards.
• Instructs production team on shift duties daily.
• Maintains excellence in production processes.
• Leads team in safety checks and equipment readiness.
• Keeps team informed about rules and objectives.
• Maintains detailed and accurate work records.
• Requests new or replacement tools or equipment as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
