Fresh Baguette, a fast-growing artisanal bakery in the DMV area, is seeking a dedicated Production Baker for its Germantown and Rockville centers. This full-time, hourly role involves preparing delicious breads and pastries while upholding strict food safety and quality standards.

You will receive hands-on training from professional bakers and join a collaborative team focused on producing high-quality, from-scratch baked goods.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, mornings, and afternoons.
• Ability to perform heavy work such as lifting 50lbs+, bending, reaching, and standing for 8 hours+.
• Reliable transportation to work and punctual, dependable performance.

Responsibilities

• Push 600lbs industrial mixing bowls.
• Lift 40lbs of dough, 100 times a day.
• Follow recipes and standard operating procedures with a team.
• Maintain tools and personal hygiene to ensure food safety and quality.
• Prepare flour and other baking ingredients manually or with equipment.
• Shape dough to bake a variety of breads and pastries.
• Operate ovens, loaders, proofers, and dough mixers.
• Work efficiently to meet production targets and deadlines.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and hygiene practices.
