Fresh Baguette Germantown, MD is seeking a Production Baker to join our artisanal bakery. This entry-level, full-time position focuses on producing breads while upholding high food-safety and quality standards.

About The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Production Baker to join our Baking department at our Fresh Baguette Germantown and Rockville production centers, 19548 Amaranth Drive Germantown, MD 20874 and 804 Hungerford Drive Rockville, MD 20850. This full-time, hourly position is perfect for someone ready to dive into the world of professional baking. As a Baker, you will play a key role in preparing delicious bread and baked goods while maintaining the highest food safety and quality standards. This is a fantastic opportunity for a fast learner and team player who is punctual, reliable, and eager to grow in a collaborative environment.

This is an entry-level position. You will receive proper training from our professional bakers who know the ins and outs of handcrafting high-quality artisanal organic breads.

What You'll Do

• Push 600lbs industrial mixing bowls
• Lift 40lbs of dough, 100 times a day

For this position, you must have open scheduling availability to work any day of the week

• 8AM-4PM
• 6AM-3PM
• 2PM-11PM
• 5 days a week including Saturday and Sunday
• 32-38 hours

Requirements

• Open availability to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, mornings, and afternoons
• Availability to work on busy peak periods such as Holidays like Thanksgiving, Christmas, Fourth of July, etc.
• Ability to perform heavy work such as lifting 50lbs+, bending, reaching, and standing for 8 hours+
• Reliable transportation to work
• Reading, writing, speaking, listening comprehension proficiency in English
