Job summary

URBN's Pizzeria Vetri unit is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to assist with prep, cooking, and presentation for service. You will help maintain sanitation, inventory, costing, ordering, and other kitchen tasks while upholding high culinary standards.

The role requires leadership experience, ServSafe certification, and a strong eye for detail. Flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays are expected as part of a busy, high-volume kitchen team.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years restaurant experience with leadership in a fast-paced kitchen.
• ServSafe Food Manager Certification is required or an approved alternative.
• High school diploma or GED is required, culinary background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with prep, cooking, and presentation for service while maintaining standards.
• Support sanitation, inventory, costing, ordering, and other kitchen tasks.
• Supervise and train staff, and cover any station as needed during rushes.
• Monitor stock levels, assist with cleaning, and ensure proper labeling and storage.
