Job summary

Aramark in Ann Arbor is seeking a baker to join our Food Services Team. You will bake a variety of foods according to recipes, set up workstation, measure, mix, and operate ovens and mixers to bring our clients' menus to life.

We emphasize food safety, proper handling, sanitation, and teamwork. The role may involve physical demands and adherence to safety policies; prior baking experience is preferred and food safety certification may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a baker or in related role preferred.
• Knowledge of baking methods and food safety regulations.
• Ability to obtain food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Bakes and prepares a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
• Sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, etc.
• Operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, mixers, etc.
• Safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
• Properly stores food by adhering to food safety policies and procedures
• Cleans and sanitizes work areas, equipment, and utensils
• Maintains excellent customer service and positive demeanor towards guests, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
• Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
• Ensures security of company assets
