Job summary

Ore Designs, Inc is seeking an experienced Fabricator/Welder to join our team in Utah. You will weld and fabricate aluminum, steel and stainless-steel components for high-end fire pits, water features and planters, following blueprints to meet exacting architectural standards.

You’ll perform structural, artistic, and ornamental welding in a fast-paced environment, with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package. Swing shift offers competitive pay and overtime possibilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of fabrication experience using GMAW/MIG welding.
• 1-2 years’ experience grinding and assembling.
• Experience in structural, artistic, and ornamental welding of aluminum, steel, and stainless steel.
• Basic mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpretation.
• Strong attention to detail.
• GTAW/TIG welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Reference blueprints to fabricate planter containers, water features and fire pits.
• Read blueprints/drawings to correctly assemble objects.
• Ensure fabrication and welding quality meets weld code and company standards.
• Effectively communicate information across levels in the organization.
• Fit and assemble aluminum or steel/stainless features per specifications.
• Finish grind and sand welds at seams to architectural appearance standards.
• Ensure edges are flush and level.
• Maintain pace of the production schedule.
• Physical labor: stand, lift up to 75 lbs, work in small spaces.
• Maintain regular attendance.
