Job summary

maman is a french bakery, café and leading lifestyle brand founded in 2014, with locations across North America. The Barista role crafts maman standard beverages, delivers warm hospitality, maintains a DOH‑compliant workstation, and upholds beverage quality and presentation.

You will work in a fast-paced, team‑driven environment, read POS tickets accurately, and support other FOH roles as needed. Requires 2+ years as a barista, espresso and latte art skills, flexible schedule including weekends,

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of barista experience.
• Barista skills evaluation required.
• Espresso, micro-foam milk texturing, and basic latte art.
• Strong understanding of POS tickets, modifiers, and beverage offerings.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and events.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs.
• Experience in high-volume or specialty coffee is a plus.
• Positive attitude and hospitality focus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve maman beverages per established recipes and standards.
• Maintain beverage quality and presentation across all drinks.
• Maintain service times: 8 minutes weekdays, 10 minutes weekends.
• Read and execute POS tickets accurately (sizes, modifiers, dine-in vs to-go).
• Deliver warm, personalized guest service following steps of service.
• Collaborate with FOH/BOH to ensure smooth service.
• Keep bar area clean and DOH compliant.
• Support multiple roles as needed during slower periods.
