Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Atlanta is seeking a Cake Decorator to join our bakery team. You will collaborate with associates to ensure quality decoration and customer service, following recipes and using decorating tools.

You will apply your cake decorating skills, maintain food safety standards, and use handheld devices to support sales and inventory. This role emphasizes teamwork and delivering a great member experience.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 months' experience in fresh production.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
I acknowledge that the position requires completing trainings and assessments.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross functional teams and educate other associates on tools tasks and resources.
Provide customer service while maintaining in-stock levels and controlling shrinkage.
Plan bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorative designs using decorating bags, tips, and nozzles.
Leverage digital tools and handheld technology to drive sales and support decisions.
Drive bakery performance, ensure quality/date control, and assist members with purchasing decisions.
Mentor and train others to help them perform in a respectful, team-oriented way.
Comply with policies and ethics, applying Open Door Policy in operations.
Complete tasks with priorities and communicate progress and deadlines.
