Job summary

Walmart Sam's Club in Avondale, AZ is hiring a part-time Cake Decorator to serve members with high-quality bakery items. You will work with the bakery team to produce decorated cakes and pastries according to recipes, maintaining food safety and inventory controls.

You will use decorating bags, tips, and nozzles to create flowers and lettering, handle cold chain compliance, and support sales with friendly member service. Training and performance bonuses are available.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Preferred: Cake Decorating experience

Responsibilities

• Be a Team Member: Collaborates with cross functional teams and helps educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources.
• Be an Expert: Plan the bakery productions ensuring quality and accuracy of decorations using recipes and various decorating tools.
• Be a Techie: Use handheld technology to assist with production, ordering and training.
• Be an Owner: Maintain bakery area standards, prevent waste and assist members with purchases.
• Be a Talent Ambassador: Deliver high-quality service and represent the Walmart values to customers and team members.
