Job summary

ShopRite of Emerson is seeking a Cake Decorator to support the Bakery Department under the supervision of the Bakery Manager. You will decorate pastries, icing and package items, ensuring a neat, clean, and visually appealing display while delivering great customer service.

The position requires the ability to stand, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and work in varying temperatures, with an hourly pay range of $15.92–$20.00 depending on experience and shift.

Qualifications

• Ability to proficiently read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

• To deliver a great customer experience while assisting the Bakery Manager in the daily operation of the department with baking, mixing dough, icing, packaging, filling, and decorating, of designated pastry and bread items in the Bakery Department; to maintain a neat, clean and visually appealing department and to perform other tasks as required in an efficient and safe manner, within Company policy.
