Job summary

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is seeking a talented part-time Assistant Bread Baker. The role offers a chance to work on a dynamic team that crafts artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads from wholesome ingredients. You’ll join a program that values food quality, community, and service.

Ideal candidates will have basic baking experience or be willing to train; you must be able to stand, lift up to 50 lbs, and work afternoons/evenings. Saturday off is provided.

Qualifications

• Large-scale baking/pastry experience is preferred; training available for right candidate.
• Attentiveness to compliance with local, state, & federal food handler and sanitation standards.
• Formal baking/pastry education is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bread Baker team in producing artisan, sweet, and seasonal breads using honest, whole ingredients.
• Support the kitchen in maintaining quality and cleanliness while following recipes and safety standards.
