Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Salem, NH is seeking a Bakery Team Member to assist in preparation, counter service, and stocking of products. You will decorate cakes and pies, bake breads and pastries, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality breads and pastries.
• Bakes doughs, mixes, cakes, cookies, breakfast pastries, pies, and bars.
• Performs baking, cooling, wrapping, and labeling.
• Stocks dry products.
• Develops new recipes and production techniques for seasonal variance and high productivity.
• Trains production personnel to high standards.
• Performs production planning and forecasting for events/holidays.
• Maintains production modules in Datapax system.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings.
• Provides excellent customer service; uses suggestive selling; answers phones politely.
• Maximizes sales through prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains a clean and safe environment; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures signs and pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards.
• Performs other duties assigned by leadership.
