Job summary

Grand Central Bakery is seeking a reliable Delivery Driver 1 in Seattle to deliver artisan bread to customers and neighborhood cafés. You will manage multiple routes, follow safety protocols, and uphold the company’s 3 Steps to Giving Great Service.

You must be at least 18, fluent in English, and able to work weekends. The role is full-time, non-exempt with overtime eligibility, and reports to the Delivery Manager. We value professionalism and community commitment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Weekend availability required.
• Professional driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver bread to customers and cafés on multiple routes.
• Drive safely and courteously, following traffic laws.
• Pack products accurately and manage invoices and cash.
• Maintain product knowledge and communicate with customers.
• Keep delivery vehicles clean and organized.
• Respond to customer questions and escalate as needed.
• Support sales goals and share feedback with teams.
• Follow safety procedures and report hazards.
