Job summary

Chico Hot Springs Bakery is seeking a reliable Baker/Pastry staff member to support daily bread, pastries, and desserts for our restaurants and banquets. The workday starts early, around 5–6am, and the small team covers daily needs with strong reliability.

Candidates should have baking experience, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to multi-task in a small department. First Aid/CPR certification is preferred, and knowledge of Aloha Systems is a plus.

Qualifications

• First Aid/CPR certification.
• Core customer service skills.
• Experience as baker and/or pastry chef.
• Familiarity with Aloha Systems.
• Knowledge of Chico Hot Springs history and property.
• Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail.
• Able to lift 5–50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pastries and desserts daily following recipes.
• Open and close kitchen procedures.
• Participate in menu specials creation.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and BOH areas.
• Provide great service to guests and team members.
• Attend monthly department huddles.
