Eastern Standard is seeking an experienced baker to join its Bakery and Pastry Department. You will work in a fast-paced environment, shaping doughs, fermenting and baking artisan breads, viennoiserie, and assisting in fresh pasta production.

Qualifications

• Prior pastry experience is required.
• Pasta making experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake artisan breads, enriched rolls, and viennoiserie.
• Set time and speed controls for mixers and proofer to match recipes.
• Weigh flour and ingredients for batters, doughs, fillings, and creams.
• Prepare garnishes for baked goods.
• Maintain stock and proper storage of products.
