Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. is seeking a friendly Baker for the Page, AZ store to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts, following established recipes and production methods.

You’ll measure, mix, shape, and bake, decorate cakes, maintain a clean work area, and assist customers with product questions and special orders, delivering consistent quality and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Customer service skills to provide friendly, timely assistance
• Experience preparing breads, pastries, and desserts using recipes and methods
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and maintain quality
• Organized, with strong time-management and clean workspace habits
• Knowledge of proper food handling, sanitation and safety procedures
• Able to work with bakery team to meet daily production needs
• Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and changing production needs
• Capable of safely operating mixers, ovens and bakery equipment
• Physically able to stand long periods and lift/move items

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and production methods.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products and decorate items as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked work area and display cases.
• Rotate and label ingredients; plan daily production with bakery team.
• Assist customers with product questions and take special orders to ensure satisfaction.
