Job summary

Adams is seeking a Baker to join our bakery team in a warm, customer-focused environment. You will prepare high-quality baked goods from scratch or via approved recipes while maintaining freshness, presentation, and adherence to food safety guidelines.

Day-to-day duties include measuring, mixing, and baking products, rotating stock, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Collaborate with team to meet production goals and satisfy customer demand.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bakery recipes and products.
• Ability to read and follow recipes accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service and take orders in person or by phone.
• Review daily goals with bakery manager or assistant and check product needs for the day.
• Prepare a variety of baked goods, following bakery recipes.
• Measure, mix, scale, bake, and finish products with proper labeling.
• Maintain strong product knowledge, including ingredients and allergen information.
• Rotate stock for freshness and keep cases full, clean, and visually appealing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in all bakery areas.
• Prioritize customer assistance to ensure exceptional service.
