Total Technology, Inc. is seeking a Software Quality Tester to support testing of artillery fire control and related software for AFATDS/IFATDS.

The role involves developing test procedures, executing regression tests, and documenting defects to ensure weapons software meets stringent government requirements and mission scenarios. The ideal candidate will have hands-on software testing experience within DoD artillery programs, strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with

Qualifications

• Experience conducting software testing, verification, and validation.
• Ability to translate operational requirements into executable test cases.
• Experience documenting software defects and communicating technical findings to developers and government personnel.
• Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering and Government teams.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain required Government installation, network, and system access.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and execute test procedures, test cases, and acceptance criteria based on requirements.
• Perform functional, integration, system, regression, and software quality testing of artillery fire control software.
• Support testing of AFATDS and/or IFATDS functionality and related workflows.
• Evaluate software performance against requirements and expected operational behavior.
• Prepare detailed defect reports with steps to reproduce and recommended disposition.
• Perform regression testing following modifications to verify resolutions.
• Coordinate with developers, systems engineers, and government personnel to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate test records and provide test results and defect metrics.
