Job summary

Latitude in Doral/Miami (FL) is seeking an AI Engineer to join a new AI Security team focused on enterprise GenAI and agentic systems. This role blends AI engineering, software development, and cybersecurity to secure AI agents and tooling.

You will design security controls, build Python automation, evaluate prompts and tooling, and help integrate security into CI/CD. 3+ years in software/AI security, strong Python, experience with AI agents, and awareness of IAM and data protection are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software engineering, AI/ML, cybersecurity, platform engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong hands-on Python development and scripting experience.
• Experience working with Generative AI, LLMs, or AI agents.
• Understanding of agentic architectures, LLM orchestration, and AI application development.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering and prompt-security concepts.
• Understanding of threats such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, and tool misuse.
• Experience with CI/CD, APIs, version control, testing, and automation.
• Working knowledge of application/API security and data protection.
• Familiarity with IAM/OAuth or least-privilege principles is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications and/or NIST AI RMF is a plus.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

• Partner with engineering, security, and business stakeholders to communicate AI security risks and recommendations.

About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on AI Engineer to join a newly established AI Security team supporting the enterprise adoption of Generative AI and agentic technologies.

This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, agentic systems, software development, and cybersecurity. You will help application teams build more secure AI agents by developing automation, security controls, evaluation frameworks, and reusable tooling that protect AI applications from emerging threats.

This is an opportunity to help shape enterprise AI security practices from the ground up and have a direct impact on how AI agents are designed, deployed, and secured.
