Job summary

Grandview School District #200 is seeking a paraprofessional to support the Principal and School Counselor with administrative tasks and data collection. The role involves assisting with student assessments and standardized testing to ensure a smooth testing experience for all students.

You will collaborate with the counselor to monitor students' academic and social-emotional progress, participate in meetings and professional development, and support in small group settings under supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Paraprofessional experience preferred.
• Bilingual abilities preferred.
• Must be at least eighteen years old and meet paraprofessional requirements.

• Under the direction of the Principal and Counselor, helps monitor students' academic and social-emotional progress to assist the counselor in small group settings with students.

What We Offer

• Salary: $19.25 - $25.27 per hour (depending on experience)

What You'll Need

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: Job related experience is desired.
• Minimum qualifications: Be at least eighteen years of age and hold a high school diploma or its equivalent. Must meet the minimum requirement for a paraprofessional (Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university, have earned 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits at the 100 level or higher at an accredited college or university or have passed the state paraeducator assessment). Bilingual preferred.

Work Environment

The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, some climbing and balancing, some stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling and some fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 34% sitting, 33% walking, and 33% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and in a generally hazard free environment.
