Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate in NWK-ROCKAWAY, NJ to build relationships with customers and assist in creating custom framing solutions.

You will help customers shop, keep the store well merchandised and in-stock, and support Omni channel processes. Responsibilities include completing framing orders on time, operating the cash register, and maintaining a safe, clutter-free environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills required for everyday store tasks.
• Basic measuring skills for framing orders and shop prep.
• Experience with cash handling and POS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and help locate products; provide solutions.
• Complete framing orders accurately and on time.
• Maintain ready-made frame department and stock; support replenishment.
• Operate cash register and handle transactions to standards.
• Contribute to Omni channel processes and store upkeep.
• Follow SOPs and company programs; support safety and shrink programs.
