The role includes sanitation, stock organization, and assisting with special promotions on the sales floor. The position requires you to read directions, communicate guest requests to management, and collaborate with team members to meet sales

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with strong guest service.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication and sales skills.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Properly cleans work area, couplers and decorating bags.
• Maintain the organization of the freezer, including proper rotation of product according to variety.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keeps supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Properly rotates icings and reads dates of icings.
• Use cake production sheet.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the cake section of the bakery.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs Front Porch duties to ensure attending guest arrival standards.
