Holy Spirit STEM Academy is seeking a creative, passionate, and qualified Part-Time Art Teacher for the 2025–2026 school year. The ideal candidate will inspire students in grades TK–8 to explore their artistic potential, develop technical skills, and express themselves through a variety of visual art forms—all within a faith-filled, supportive setting.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging art lessons aligned with curriculum standards and school values
• Introduce students to diverse artistic techniques, media, and art history
• Foster a classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and artistic expression
• Integrate Catholic values and themes into the classroom where appropriate
• Organize student artwork for school displays, events, and exhibitions
• Collaborate with fellow faculty and staff to support school-wide initiatives
• Maintain a safe and respectful learning environment

Requirements

• Demonstrated background in art through personal work, workshops, informal teaching, or related experience.
• Experience teaching art to elementary and/or middle school students
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Holy Spirit STEM Academy
• Being an Enthusiastic, flexible, and collaborative team player

Wage Range
The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
