Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university.
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject and level assigned.
• Valid Texas Commercial Driver's License (Class B).
• Ability to instruct students and manage behavior.
• Knowledge of UIL rules and coaching techniques.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to district curriculum.
• Present material according to TEA guidelines and policies.
• Plan and use instructional strategies reflecting diverse learning styles.
• Conduct assessment of student learning and adjust instruction.
• Instruct and supervise student athletes; coordinate athletic activities.
• Establish and maintain open communication with parents, students, staff.
• Adhere to Student Code of Conduct and UIL rules.
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Ensure safety of students and equipment.
• Coordinate coaching program and trips as assigned.
