Big Ideas Educational Services is seeking a part-time Art Teacher for an afterschool program in the Miami Gardens area. The role runs Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM (15 hours per week), with travel between partner schools required.

Plan hands-on art lessons, teach diverse techniques, and foster creativity in elementary students. Ideal candidates have a passion for art, strong classroom management, and the ability to adapt lessons for varied skill levels.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience working with children in educational, recreational, camp, or afterschool settings.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to partner school locations.
• Ability to pass all required background screenings.
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Art, Education, Fine Arts, or related field.

• Display and celebrate student artwork when appropriate.
• Communicate professionally with school staff and Big Ideas leadership.
• Track attendance and submit required program documentation.
• Travel to assigned partner schools within the Miami Gardens area as scheduled.

Part-Time Art Teacher (Afterschool Program)

Monday-Friday | 2:30 PM - 5:30 PM (15 Hours Per Week)

Multiple partner schools located throughout the Miami Gardens area. Teachers will be assigned to one school per day and may work at different school sites throughout the week. Travel between school locations on different days is required.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and creative Art Teacher to lead engaging afterschool art activities for elementary-aged students.

The Art Teacher will plan and facilitate hands-on art lessons that encourage creativity, self-expression, and artistic exploration. The ideal candidate is passionate about working with children, creates a positive learning environment, and can adapt lessons for students with diverse skill levels and interests.
