Job summary

Miami Children's Museum is seeking a dedicated afterschool leader to guide elementary students in a safe, inclusive setting. You will plan weekly lessons across art, science, literacy, and music, while fostering creativity and teamwork.

The role emphasizes building relationships with students, supporting social and emotional development, and communicating with parents and staff to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Loves working with elementary-aged children.
• Has at least one year of experience leading groups of children.
• Working toward an Associate's degree or higher in Education or has completed at least two years of college coursework.
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Is dependable, positive, and enjoys working as part of a team.
• Is CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to become certified).
• Can successfully pass a Level II Background Screening and pre-employment drug screening.
