Job summary

Miami Children's Museum is seeking an energetic Afterschool Instructor to join our team at Brentwood Elementary School. The role focuses on inspiring children through hands-on activities in art, science, literacy, music, and games, in a safe, inclusive classroom.

You will lead weekly lessons, support social-emotional development, and maintain student attendance while communicating with parents and staff to ensure student success.

Qualifications

• Loves working with elementary-aged children.
• At least one year of experience leading groups of children.
• Working toward an Associate's degree or higher in Education or has completed at least two years of college coursework.
• Has strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Dependable, positive, and enjoys working as part of a team.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willing to become certified).
• Able to pass Level II Background Screening and pre-employment drug screening.

The Miami Children's Museum is seeking an energetic, dependable, and passionate Afterschool Instructor to join our team at Brentwood Elementary School! If you love working with children and enjoy hands-on activities, games, art, STEM, and creative learning, we'd love to meet you.

Every afternoon is an opportunity to help students build confidence, discover new interests, and create memories they'll never forget.
